Heroux's Fre Division Wins $9.5 Million Order In Asia

LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JULY 10, 1995--HEROUX INC.(ME: HRX ) Heroux Inc. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gilles Labbe today announced that its St.Andre, Quebec FRE Composites division has been awarded a $9.5 million contract to supply conduits in the Asian market. The products will be used as part of a massive rebuilding program to upgrade the region's electrical and telecommunications infrastructure systems. FRE designs, develops and manufactures composite material based products for the industrial/electrical and aerospace markets.
Deliveries have already commenced and will continue for the next thirteen months. The award is the largest single contract win in FRE's history.

Our high quality and durable products allow us to compete effectively in the developing world which has dedicated considerable budgets for infrastructure improvement," said Mr. Labbe.
Heroux Inc., a Canadian company based in Longueuil, Quebec, specializes in the design, development, manufacture and repair of products for the industrial and aerospace sectors. Additional facilities are located in St-Andre, Quebec (FRE Composites Inc.), Pinellas Park, Florida (A.B.A Industries, Inc.) and Cincinnati, Ohio; (McSwain Manufacturing). Approximately 85 per cent of company sales are to the United States. Heroux's shares trade on the Montreal Exchange under the symbol HRX.
