DPL elects Arthur G. Meyer to position of Treasurer of The Dayton Power and Light Company

DAYTON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 27, 1995--The Board of Directors of DPL Inc. today announced the election of Arthur G. Meyer to the position of Treasurer of The Dayton Power and Light Company.
In assuming the Treasury responsibilities, Art will continue to oversee the operations of Cash Management, Financial Activities and Shareholder Relations and Financial Analysis. His emphasis will remain primarily on working with the investment community and rating agencies.
Pete Forster, DPL Inc. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer said, ``The financial community has become keenly aware of our strong performance and Art's experience and expertise will enable us to maintain our competitive position in the utility market.''
Art joined DP&L in 1992 and has worked in the Legal Department and Customer Service Operations to broaden his knowledge and skills. In addition, he continues to play a key role in working with DP&L's Collaborative group to further our mission of providing cost effective, energy-saving programs to all our customers.
He earned a B.A. from Wittenberg University and a juris doctor from Capital University. Art, his wife, Valerie and their two daughters have recently relocated to the Dayton area.
