Computer Concepts Corp. developing additional language versions of d.b.Express for IBM's OS/2 operating system

Business Wire, June 29, 1995

BOHEMIA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 1995--Computer Concepts Corp. (NASDAQ:CCEE) today announced that development is currently underway on 13 additional language versions of d.b.Express which will run under IBM's 32 bit OS/2 operating system. Computer Concepts' management, in recognition of the fact that more than half of the software developed by U.S. software companies is sold outside the United States, is currently in the process of developing additional foreign language versions of d.b.Express which will run under IBM's OS/2 operating system.

Ed Warman, VP of products and services at Computer Concepts, commented, "The additional revenue potential from the sale of foreign language versions of d.b.Express will greatly enhance our earnings potential, and accordingly we have decided to increase the number of foreign language versions to take advantage of these additional foreign revenue sources." Warman further added, "Since d.b.Express is currently running under several foreign language versions already, we expect to be able to fill orders from foreign users of IBM's OS/2 operating system within 60 to 90 days."

Computer Concepts, in a June 22, 1995 news release, announced that it had signed an agreement to build a 32-bit version of d.b.Express for the OS/2 operating system. Both the 32-bit version and foreign language versions will be developed simultaneously, along with the 32-bit version currently being developed for the new Windows 95(TM) operating system being developed by Microsoft.
