Apertus launches major initiative in Germany, signing Comparex-Networks to distribute its SNA-to-TCP IP Gateway

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 8, 1995--Apertus Technologies Incorporated (NASDAQ: APTS) today announced it has entered into a multi-year distribution agreement with Comparex-Networks GmbH, a subsidiary of Comparex Informationssysteme GmbH, the leading German information systems provider owned by the BASF Group. Comparex-Networks is providing Apertus' Datastar to meet the needs of its large corporate customers that require high-performance integration of new TCP/IP networks with host resources. The agreement is expected to be worth several million dollars to Apertus, with initial orders placed this quarter of $500,000.
