Swiss Bank hires Horacio Marquez tojoin its Latin American Credit Research team

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 13, 1995--Horacio R. Marquez has joined the Latin American Credit Research team.
Horacio Marquez will be responsible for generating value added sales and trading ideas for SBC Capital Markets Inc.'s internal and external clients interested in Latin American Brady and Eurobonds. The appointment confirms Swiss Bank Corporation's commitment to Latin America and emerging market businesses in hiring high level client focussed research personnel.
Horacio Marquez is joining from Merrill Lynch Asset Management in New York, where he was a senior fund analyst in the emerging market group. Prior to that he acted as Director Special Projects, LDC Trading, for the Miami based Latin American Financial Services Corp. (LAFIS) and was Director of Sales and Operations, Latin America & Caribbean for Barclays Bank/Interpayment.
Horacio Marquez holds a Master of Science in Industrial Administration from the Carnegie-Mellon University and a Fullbright Commission Award. He has a Licentiate in Business Administration from the University of Buenos Aires.
He will be based in New York and will report to Tariq Pasha, the Global Head of Credit Research who recently relocated to New York from London.
