Kodak To Review Ad Agencies For New Corporate Brand Campaign
Business Wire, March 31, 1995
ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 1995--Eastman Kodak Company CEO George Fisher today confirmed that the company is in the exploratory stages of a new corporate brand campaign.
Kodak revealed the foundation for the campaign during a major press conference in San Francisco on March 28. At that time, Fisher said the company has developed a strategic path forward to more aggressively leverage the Kodak brand name worldwide.
"Our strategy is to enable people to make greater use of their pictures in new and creative ways. A new global, corporate brand advertising campaign will provide a foundation for our efforts to drive growth in both traditional photographic and emerging digital imaging businesses," Fisher said.
Kodak is in discussions with a limited number of firms to assist in this effort.
This announcement has no impact on the current assignments for the company's existing advertising agencies, including J.Walter Thompson, Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy & Mather; and Rumrill-Hoyt.
