Peter Greene rejoins DMB&B New Yorkas senior vice president group account director

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 1995--DMB&B/New York announced the appointment of Peter A. Greene to one of the agency's top account director positions.
Greene, who worked for Benton & Bowles from 1974 to 1983 as senior vice president/management supervisor, will hold the title: senior vice president/group account director and lead the agency's efforts on the Aleve, Crystal Light and Tyco accounts.
In his earlier work for Benton & Bowles, Greene introduced the Dawn, Rely and Always brands for Procter & Gamble and supervised other major accounts such as Showtime and Garneau Wines & Liquors. During that time he spent three years as managing director of the Benton & Bowles Toronto office (now DMB&B/Canada).
After nine years with Benton & Bowles, Greene became president/CEO for Scali McCabe Sloves/Toronto, where he worked with Apple Computer, Labatt beer and Ralston-Purina pet foods, among other clients. In 1986 he became president/CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising/Canada. Under his leadership the agency won the Xerox, Toyota and Procter & Gamble accounts and grew significantly.
Most recently, Greene was executive vice president/director of account management for Young & Rubicam/New York, where he led a successful agency team to develop a global strategy for DuPont Lycra and supervised several global accounts.
Greene holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from Columbia University and a B.A. in English from Trinity College, Hartford. He is married and lives in Manhattan.
