Sage Communications announces consulting partnership with Tandem Computer's Telecom Division

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 1, 1995--Sage Communications Corp. of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Tandem Computers Inc. of Cupertino, Calif., Monday announced a partnership agreement to deliver high-end decision support and data warehouse consulting and implementation expertise worldwide.
With the formation of this alliance, Sage Communications will be opening its first international office in London during May, to be staffed initially by the Managing Director of Sage International, John Puhl, formerly with AT&T GIS.
As a Tandem Alliance Partner, Sage will complement Tandem's pioneering parallel processing solutions with consulting and support personnel to aid in decision support planning, data sourcing and categorizing, modeling, piloting, and system design and implementation. For public carriers and service providers who have incorporated decision support solutions into their business models, the Tandem platform employs an array of unique architectural features that greatly accelerate throughput for small to complex system queries.
