New set of Btrieve components for Delphi applications now available from Summit National Group; Utilization of native Borland Delphi and Btrieve functionality delivers easiest and fastest possible access

Business Wire, May 11, 1995

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 1995--A new software package from National Summit Group called Btrieve Components for Delphi provides a set of tools which allow increased ease of use and significant speed improvements when accessing files from Borland Delphi applications.

According to Bruce W. McDougal, Summit National Group, "by using Btrieve Components, the need for Data Dictionary Files (DDF) is completely eliminated. Because our components are written in Delphi and utilized in native Btrieve functionality, the need for comparable VBX tools to be `wrapped' by Delphi before being accessible is also avoided. We feel this is a significant breakthrough which will enable designers and developers to produce quality Delphi applications very quickly."

Btrieve Components for Delphi is priced at $395 for the complete package, and will be available July 1, 1995.

Btrieve Components for Delphi include:

Source Components: BtrDVB, BtrvRepository, BtrvFile

Editing Components: BtrvMem, BtrvEdit, BtrvListBox, BtrvComboBox,
