EMI Records Group North America Chairman and CEO Charles Koppelman said, "We see multimedia projects as a means to enrich opportunities for our artists and remain on the cutting-edge in the music industry. The development of new formats like Enhanced CD and CD-ROM is a big part of this process. We plan to make every effort to develop and promote these products in order to gain exposure for both our catalogue and our artists."
Ken Berry, Chairman and CEO, Virgin/EMI International, said, "We believe that music will play a critical role in the multimedia revolution. Multimedia projects create intriguing opportunities for our artists to explore their creativity. CD-ROMs are about more than just putting videos to existing music.
