Communications Central Inc. Announces New Interim Ceo

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 24, 1995--Communications Central Inc. (Nasdaq/NMS:CCIX) announced today that Richard W. Oliver, a member of the Board of Directors, had been named interim chief executive officer following the resignation of Terry L. Colbert from all positions he previously occupied. Mr. Oliver, who has been serving as chairman of the executive committee of the Board, is a professor at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University and a former senior executive with Northern Telecom. The Company also announced that S. Michael Stinson, presently senior vice president and general manager of the Company's inmate phone division, would serve as chief operating officer and that Raymond L. Brown would continue to serve as the Company's chief financial officer.

Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, CCI is a vertically integrated company that currently owns and operates a network of over 26,000 payphones and inmate phones.
