MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MAY 3, 1995--BOMBARDIER AEROSPACE Robert E. Brown, president of Bombardier Aerospace Group North America, has appointed Robert D. Gillespie as president of Bombardier Business Jet Solutions Division, the sales and marketing arm of Business JetSolutions*, jointly launched by Bombardier and AMR COMBS today. Additionally, Mr. Gillespie will oversee Bombardier's interests in JetSolutions L.L.C., the operations arm of the venture. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Business JetSolutions will provide a complete range of business aviation products and services to respond to market demands. Business JetSolutions will offer a fractional ownership program FlexJet(X), for companies and individuals who do not yet need full ownership of business jet aircraft, or for business jet operators who are interested in supplementing their own corporate fleets.

Mr. Gillespie had previously held the title of vice president, strategic planning and business development for the Bombardier Aerospace Group North America in Montreal, where he coordinated planning and development functions for business jet, regional aircraft, amphibious aircraft, aerostructures and defence services operations.

Before joining Bombardier, Mr. Gillespie served for 20 years in various positions with the Government of Canada in the Treasury and Industry Departments, and finally the Defence Department as assistant deputy minister Material where he was responsible for acquisition and logistics support of all major equipment for the Canadian Armed Forces.
