BateTech Software releases World Wide Web interface for Customer-One help desk

Business Wire, Nov 10, 1995

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 10, 1995--BateTech Software will be showing its Internet web interface for its Customer-One help desk and customer service software at Fall Comdex in the Hilton (at Booth H211) at Las Vegas.

The web interface extends Customer-One's connectivity options to include: modem dial-in network, CompuServe, the Internet and the Internet World Wide Web. This array of options means that you can allow your staff or customers to view and update information contained in your corporate help desk no matter where they are. They could be on the other side of the world or in the next room!

Login security means user will only see what you want them to. The same login and password are used to changes to access levels made in Customer-One are automatically reflected on the web.

The same information available over the network - mail, bulletin board items, service requests and news - is now also available via the web. The task of generating duplicate copies of information is eliminated because one copy is stored and the same information is accessed via Customer-One and the web.

This turnkey solution can be plugged into your existing web pages as-is with one hyperlink and can be customized to suit your specific needs. Custom web pages showing specialized or sensitive data can be created for different users or groups of users.

Compared to other products priced from $10,000 to $25,000, Customer-One's Internet web add-on module - priced at only $1,995 - offers a very attractive option for putting your customer service on the web!

According to Eric Peterson, product manager, "Adding a web interface is a logical extension to Customer-One. Making it extensible and affordable is the way BateTech Software does business."
