ClarisWorks 4.0 for Windows 95 ships; available now at special holiday price of $49

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 1995--ClarisWorks 4.0 for Windows 95, the smartest all-in-one software for business, education and home, shipped today.

It is available at Claris resellers throughout the U.S. and directly from Claris for a special suggested promotional price of $49 -- effective through Jan. 31, 1996. A Macintosh version of ClarisWorks 4.0, which is file-compatible with the Windows 95 version, shipped earlier this year.

ClarisWorks 4.0 combines an intuitive, all-in-one design with expert assistance and time-saving automation features in a single, easy-to-use program. With extensive new word processing capabilities (including an HTML translator for creating World Wide Web documents) and enhanced database reporting, it has the power to manage demanding computing tasks. And new time-saving automation features make ClarisWorks 4.0 users more productive than ever.

The newest version of this full-featured word processor, spreadsheet, database, graphics, and presentation software adds more than 100 new features while still providing excellent performance and retaining an exceptionally compact size. And it's the only all-in-one software with Windows 95 and Macintosh versions that share one file format across platforms.

ClarisWorks 4.0 saves users steps and time with the ExpressStyle stylesheet feature that enables users to instantly format text, paragraphs, graphics, outlines and tables; FastReport for automating searching, sorting, and reporting; and ReadyArt Libraries which allow users to store and organize clip art images (500 clip art images are included). Mail Label, Home Finance, and Certificate Assistants supplement over 40 other Assistants and templates to offer step-by-step guidance and expert advice or help with complex tasks.
