FOCUS ENHANCEMENTS, INC. JOINS FORCES WITH ZENITH ELECTRONICS CORPORATION TO OFFER PC-TO-TV SOLUTIONS FOR HOTELS, SCHOOLS AND BOARDROOMS; Uses Zenith's New SuperPort Technology

WOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 1995--FOCUS Enhancements, Inc. (NASDAQ: FCSE, FCSEW) (BSE: FCS, FCSW) announced today that it has teamed with Zenith Electronics Corporation (NYSE: ZE) to bring computer capabilities to television sets in hotels, schools, boardrooms and other arenas.

The effort will combine FOCUS Enhancements' video-to-TV technology with Zenith Electronics' new SuperPort technology to link commercial TV sets to portable computers. The resulting product, called PCZTV, will enable the TVs to be used as computer monitors for multimedia presentations, demonstrations, lessons or training sessions.

The SuperPort is an integrated circuit docking technology built into a commercial TV set and containing an internal housing similar to computer add-on packages for easy slide-in installation. Customers now will be able to plug the FOCUS PCZTV card into the back of any Zenith TV set with a SuperPort and then transfer their computer images to the television screen, flicker free.
