Bradmark announces Version 2.0 of DBGENERAL's Performance Monitor option for Oracle

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 15, 1995--Bradmark Technologies Inc. Wednesday announced the next generation of the performance monitoring option of the DBGENERAL for Oracle product.

The Performance Monitor provides real-time monitoring and alarming for hundreds of Oracle statistics and has been designed with a flexible distributed agent architecture that will take advantage of any client-server environment. This product will be released as Version 2.0 of the Performance Monitor and will be available in fourth quarter 1995.

The new release of this product further enhances the functionality of Bradmark's DBGENERAL for Oracle product and underlines Bradmark's continued commitment to providing premier data management solutions for the Oracle environment.

The Performance Monitor offers complete drill-down technology from the global system statistics, through the detail session information, down into the SQL code currently executing. ''DBGENERAL's new Performance Monitor option has been redesigned to support true client-server performance monitoring for any Oracle environment,'' said Brad Tashenberg, president of Bradmark Technologies.

''In addition, the product will be very flexible which will allow DBAs to customize and tailor the user interface to suit their environments.''

Version 2 of the Performance Monitor will be initially released with server agents for users of Oracle Version 6 and 7 on the HP/UX-based HP9000 processor series and Windows NT servers. In addition, the Performance Monitor will support Oracle Version 6 or 7 running on all other hardware platforms via SQL*Net.

The product will utilize both Windows 95 and Windows NT for the PC client GUI. ''As with other DBGENERAL options, the product is very easy to install and provides the intuitive user interface which our customers are accustomed to,'' continued Tashenberg.

The product will be available through Bradmark's own direct sales groups in the United States and England as well as through its worldwide network of resellers.
