Boston Restaurant Associates, Inc. announces Pizzeria Regina to open at Solomon Pond Mall

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 20, 1995--GEORGE R. CHAPDELAINE, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF BOSTON RESTAURANT ASSOCIATES, INC. (NASDAQ: BRAI, BRAIW) (BSE: BNR, BNRW) announced today that it has signed a lease to build a Pizzeria Regina in the food court of the new million plus square foot Solomon Pond Mall, located in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The mall is scheduled to open in August of 1996.
George Chapdelaine, Chief Executive Officer of BOSTON RESTAURANT ASSOCIATES, INC., commented, "This is a major step for BOSTON RESTAURANT ASSOCIATES, INC. The Solomon Pond Mall is the only major mall being built in New England at this time. We were in direct competition with major chains for this space and Pizzeria Regina won the contract. The signing of this lease shows that major national mall developers have confidence in the Pizzeria Regina concept."
BOSTON RESTAURANT ASSOCIATES, INC. owns and operates eight pizzerias under the name Pizzeria Regina and two Italian restaurants named Bel Canto and Polcari's North End. The restaurants are located in the Boston area.
