Evans & Sutherland announces organizational changes in its Government Simulation Business Unit; New organization structure positions E&S for continued growth in domestic and international markets

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 7, 1995--Evans & Sutherland Computer Corporation (Nasdaq: ESCC) today announced strategic changes in its Government Simulation business unit which provides visual systems to the U.S. and international simulation and training markets. James Oyler, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "The Government Simulation business unit is now organized to better address the growth we are experiencing in both our domestic and international markets.
"Previously, the U.S. and international simulation and training markets were addressed by separate groups within the Government Simulation Unit. The new structure combines these groups in a way that recognizes the worldwide nature of these markets and better positions the Company to engineer and execute programs more effectively for our customers. As part of the move, a new market development group was formed to allow E&S to expand into simulation markets not previously addressed."
Ronald Sutherland will continue as Vice President, General Manager of Government Simulation. Reporting directly to Mr. Sutherland is David Janke, Vice President of New Business Development; Bruce Erickson, Vice President of New Market Development; Hin-Man Tong, Vice President of Engineering; Quill Nebeker, Director of Contracts and Pricing; Jayne Anderson, Marketing Communications Manager; Mary Steer, Strategic Planning Specialist; and a Vice President of Program Management who will be announced at a later date. Mr. Sutherland will be acting Vice President of Program Management until this position is filled.
