SIMSCI appoints new vice president of sales and marketing

BREA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 19, 1995--Simulation Sciences Inc. (SIMSCI)(sm), developer of the open, standards-based PROVISION(tm) engineering environment, has appointed Dirk Pfeiffer as vice president of sales and marketing.

Educated in Germany, with an MBA from the University of Cologne, Pfeiffer comes to SIMSCI from SAP, where he was the sales and marketing director for the Oil and Gas Industry. Prior to that, he was the European account manager GM/EDS for Hewlett Packard. In both positions, he developed and implemented successful and innovative programs to promote revenue growth and build value for the companies.
