Unisys wins systems integration contract with Publix Employees Federal Credit Union

BLUE BELL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 1995--Unisys Tuesday announced it has been awarded a one million dollar contract with Publix Employees Federal Credit Union to provide an enterprise-wide systems integration solution.

Under the agreement Unisys will design and implement a multi-state wide area network to enable the credit union to expand and improve member services. The systems integration effort will include a Computer Output to Laser Disk (COLD) solution, corporate wide E-Mail, Microsoft Office suite, a PC loan origination system, and overall installation and project management services.

Publix Employees Federal Credit Union, with 220 million in assets, currently serves 70,000 members in Florida, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama. As Publix Supermarkets Inc., their sponsor company, expands into new regions, the Credit Union is rapidly taking new members and growing its business.
