Avid Technology Inc. ships Real Impact, powerful Windows video editing software for desktop multimedia production

TEWKSBURY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 1995--Avid Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:AVID) Tuesday announced it is now shipping Real Impact, the Company's first PCI-based, Windows 32-bit video editor designed for multimedia production.

Real Impact provides multimedia producers and corporate communications professionals with a powerful and easy-to-use solution for creating high-quality digital video content for multimedia presentations, CD-ROM titles, information kiosks, interactive training and Internet distribution, as well as cost-effective videotapes.
