Security Dynamics Technologies, Inc. Announces Filing For Follow-On Public Offering

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--October 31, 1995--Security Dynamics Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: SDTI) today announced that it filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a public offering of 2,300,000 shares of Common Stock. Of the shares being offered, 1,560,000 are being offered by the Company and 740,000 are being offered by selling stockholders. The Company has also granted to the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 345,000 shares to cover over-allotments. The net proceeds from the sale of shares by the Company will be used for general corporate purposes. The offering is being managed by Alex. Brown & Sons Incorporated, Robertson Stephens & Company, L.P. and Cowen & Company.
Security Dynamics designs, develops, markets and supports a family of security products used to protect and manage access to computer-based information resources. The Company's products include its SecurID tokens and ACE/Server software and Access Control Module software and hardware access control products.
