Am-Re Services and Planet Polymer Technologies, Inc. Form Strategic Alliance

PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 1, 1995--Am-Re Services, Inc. of Princeton, NJ and Planet Polymer Technologies, Inc. of San Diego, CA have formed a strategic alliance to promote EnviroPlastic(TM) resins, which are engineered to improve plastic products while reducing solid waste.

Planet Polymer, a specialty chemical company founded in 1991, has developed EnviroPlastic(TM) resins for the consumer disposable, agricultural, and advanced packaging markets. According to Planet Polymer's President, Dr. Robert Petcavich, "The advances we have made in the degradability and time-released water solubility of our plastic resins make them especially attractive from an environmental perspective. Moreover, EnviroPlastics(TM) use existing manufacturing equipment thereby allowing us to compete favorably with traditional plastics." Special resins have been developed for use in diapers, paper coatings, fertilizers, fast food packaging and utensils. Planet Polymer has strategic agreements in place with companies in South Korea, Japan, Philippines, and Europe. The company is in the process of being publicly listed on NASDAQ, small cap., under the symbol - POLY.
