Metrowerks Launches New Low-Priced Codewarrior Programming Starter Kit

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 13, 1995-- Metrowerks, Inc. announced today the introduction of the CodeWarrior(TM) Programming Starter Kit at the Apple Expo Paris trade show. The CodeWarrior Programming Starter Kit which will retail for US$79 features the CodeWarrior Integrated Development Environment and C, C and Object Pascal. It is intended for use by entry-level programmers who want to learn how to build applications running under the Macintosh operating system. To help programmers get started programming the Macintosh, two trade books are included on the Starter Kit CD-ROM - "the Programming Starter Kit for Macintosh" by Jim Trudeau and "C Programming with CodeWarrior" by Jan L. Harrington. "CodeWarrior now has a dominant share of the high-end Power Macintosh(TM) programming market," said Jean Belanger, Chairman of Metrowerks. "We now want to be able to bring CodeWarrior's functionality to the entry-level programmer at a price he or she can afford."

The CodeWarrior Programming Starter Kit will be available September 13 and is priced at US$79. International editions are available localized in the following languages: traditional and simplified Chinese, French, German, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish. The product is available from Metrowerks and its authorized resellers.
