Apex One, Inc., subsidiary of Converse Inc., announces bankruptcy filing

North Reading, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--September 14, 1995--Apex One, Inc., a subsidiary of Converse Inc. (NYSE:CVE), announced today that it has filed a voluntary petition under Chapter 11 of the Federal Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. The bankruptcy filing resulted from the previously announced cessation of Apex One operations on August 9, 1995.

The Chapter 11 filing by Apex One, Inc. has no impact on the operations of Converse Inc.
