NDU Resources - Ruby Range Second Phase Drilling Results
Business Wire, Sept 20, 1995
VANCOUVER, BC--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SEPTEMBER 20, 1995--NDU RESOURCES LTD. (VSE:NDU) President James M. Stephen announces results from the second phase of diamond drilling at the Ruby Range Property where the Company has an option to earn 50 percent working interest from Cash Resources Ltd.
The most recent drilling consisted of nine holes. Three holes explored along strike or downdip from previous holes in the Rikus Zone and produced intersections ranging from 1.1 to 2.0 g/t gold over widths of 1.5 to 5.5 m. The other six holes tested three veins located between 1000 and 2000 m west of the Rikus Zone.
These holes yielded only one significant assay, 4.16 g/t gold from a 1.44 m wide gouge zone approximately 50 m downdip from an excavator trench containing a similar structure which assayed 19.06 g/t over 1.0 m. Unfortunately a hole which should have cut the structure further downdip returned only weakly anomalous values.
A Max-Min survey produced strong geophysical conductors over several known and suspected vein zones and successfully traced these structures along strike; however, soil geochemical response along the projected extensions is generally subdued and prospecting has located only isolated patches of mineralized float. -0-
