Aden Enterprises engages Salomon Brothers as investment banker

OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 20, 1995--Aden Enterprises (OTC:ADEN), which is in the process of changing its name to Electronic Cash and Data Transmission (ECDT), today announced it has engaged Salomon Brothers Inc. for financial advisory and investment banking services.

Salomon will advise and assist Aden's (ECDT's) management regarding strategic and financial alternatives. Salomon's specific duties will include identifying and evaluating strategic partners and investment opportunities in third parties for Aden (ECDT) and other investment banking services.

Aden (ECDT) plans to combine electronic data interchange services, proprietary software, and telecommunications services for electronic transmission of cash and data for consumers and institutions. The services are transaction based, and include bill paying services, electronic home banking, back-end processing, check verification, and other electronic telecommunication services.

The company previously announced it has signed letters of intent to acquire, through a merger, SmartPay Processing, an electronic bill paying and information processing company, and Strategic Ventures Inc., a demographic marketing database service company.
