Deloitte & Touche LLP Partners approve launch of Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group; Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group will strengthen delivery of consulting services to client organizations worldwide

WILTON, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 21, 1995--Deloitte & Touche LLP, the U.S. member of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu International (DTTI), one of the world's leading professional services firms, today announced its partners have approved operating its U.S. consulting practice as a distinct division of the firm. The new entity will be named Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group.

The U.S. firm's move to Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group is the first step of a decision made earlier this year by the Board of Directors of DTTI to combine the firm's international consulting practices into a seamless global enterprise. While Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group will function as a distinct operating division of Deloitte & Touche LLP, it will retain its close ties to the firm's accounting, auditing and tax practices.
