Miltope confirms George K. Webster as president and chief executive officer

HOPE HULL, Al.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 27, 1995--Miltope Corp. (NASDAQ: MILT) today announced the confirmation of George K. Webster as president and chief executive officer.
He was elected to these positions in an acting capacity in April, 1995 by the board of directors. The announcement was made by Dr. Alvin E. Nashman, chairman of the board.
Webster, 53, has a strong background in the defense and electronics industries, holding a variety of highly responsible leadership and management positions over the course of his career. He joined Miltope in 1992 as vice president of programs and operations and, in the fall of 1993, assumed the additional responsibility of senior vice president of Business Development and Marketing.
Prior to joining Miltope, Webster held several senior and key positions with Loral Fairchild Systems, Fairchild Weston, JGW International Ltd. and within the Department of Defense. He holds an M.B.A. from Georgia State University and a B.S. from the University of Detroit.
