Shaw Communications Inc. reaches agreements with three Canadian specialty services

CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 1995--SHAW COMMUNICATIONS (Alberta Stock Exchange: SCL.B Alberta Stock Exchange: SCL.A) Shaw Communications Inc. ("Shaw") today announced that carriage and rate agreements have been signed between Shaw and Bravol, NCN and Showcase.

These programming services were among seven new Canadian specialty services launched on January 1, 1995.

It also operates nine radio stations in three provinces and its holdings include YTV, the Canadian youth specialty channel, Digital Music Express, NPC National Personal Communication Corporation and Microcell 1-2-1.
