SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 1, 1996--Cypress Research Corporation today announced that the Personal Communications Division of U.S. Robotics is bundling Cypress Research's MegaPhone(TM) screen-based telephone software with the Sportster(R) Voice 28.8 Faxmodem for Macintosh(R) computers.

Used in conjunction with the Sportster Voice 28.8 Faxmodem for Macintosh, MegaPhone for Sportster offers users a comprehensive voice solution that includes a full duplex speakerphone, digital answering machine, Caller ID, and other sophisticated features designed to streamline phone-related tasks.

Support For Caller ID

MegaPhone for Sportster incorporates a state-of-the-art, full duplex speakerphone, contacts manager, digital answering machine, drag and drop dialing, easy dialing from the keyboard, support for Apple events, Call Timer, Toll Saver, and remote message retrieval.
