ACT Teleconferencing Inc. names Harry Walls as president of ACT Teleconferencing Services subsidiary

GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 10, 1996--ACT Teleconferencing, Inc. (NASDAQ:ACTTU), an international provider of audio, data, and video teleconferencing products and services, today announced that Harry R. Walls was named President of ACT Teleconferencing Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ACT Teleconferencing, Inc.
Walls joined the Company in January.
In making the announcement, Gerald D. Van Eeckhout, Chairman of ACT, stated, "We are delighted to add a person of Harry's caliber to the ACT management team." Walls had previously served as Vice President of Sales of ConferTech International, another teleconferencing company, during that company's eight year growth from $3.5 million to $50 million in revenues. "Harry and I worked together in the early years of that company, and I am confident Harry will provide similar management leadership for ACT," Van Eeckhout continued.
The ACT Teleconferencing Services subsidiary provides high quality audio/data/video teleconferencing products and services in the United States. Its parent company, ACT Teleconferencing, Inc., recently completed its initial public offering. Its Units trade on the Nasdaq Small Cap Market under the symbol ACTTU.
