Codina Real Estate Management appoints James O'Brien vice president

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 19, 1996--James O'Brien, a 25-year veteran in commercial real estate asset management, has joined Codina Real Estate Management as vice president.
O'Brien was most recently a partner of Fort Lauderdale-based PFK Realty Services Inc. where he was also director of Management, Marketing and Leasing Services for properties such as the Boca Plaza, Boca Raton; Clearlake Plaza, West Palm Beach; Cocogate Plaza Shopping Center, Margate; Meridian Center, Boca Raton and the Cypress Creek Business Park, Phase II, Fort Lauderdale.
"Codina Real Estate Management has aggressively expanded into Broward and Palm Beach counties. Jim's expertise further enhances our strength in this arena," said William Wassey, president of Codina Real Estate Management.
Prior to PFK, O'Brien held positions with American Tectonics Southeast and Headway Management Co., both of South Florida, and Johnstown American Companies of Atlanta.
O'Brien, a native of Boston, received his B.A. in History from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.
Codina Real Estate Management is one of five operating companies of Codina Group, a full-service commercial real estate development company based in Miami. Codina Group is headed by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Armando Codina and Chief Operating Officer Jeb Bush.
