DocuMagix HotPage for Netscape Navigator Beta Program Expanded to Online Community

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 2, 1996--DocuMagix, Inc. today announced the availability of the beta version of DocuMagix HotPage for Netscape Navigator to download from its site at http://www.documagix.com.
DocuMagix HotPage is the first companion product for Netscape Navigator that easily captures, organizes and manages World Wide Web and Intranet information into an intuitive filing cabinet inside your PC. The DocuMagix HotPage beta program will be available to online users beginning April 2, 1996.
DocuMagix HotPage manages the content of Web pages with one click. It installs itself on Netscape Navigator's menu bar and allows users to save Web pages with their live URLs into a DocuMagix HotPage personalized file cabinet. Once in DocuMagix HotPage, users can merge Web pages with other documents, link any Web page to the original site for an update, or create a hot link to the Web from any Windows document.
"Due to the overwhelming response received after the announcement of DocuMagix HotPage earlier this month, we decided to expand our beta program on to our Web site for the online community to participate in this exciting product introduction," said George Skaff, vice president of marketing at DocuMagix.
System Requirements:
DocuMagix HotPage for Netscape Navigator requires IBM-compatible 486 or higher processor with 8 MB RAM (and a 4 MB permanent swap file for Windows 3.1 and 3.11 users), a hard disk with 5 MB free for software installation, DOS 3.1 (or later) and Windows 3.1 or higher, or Windows 95, Netscape Navigator 1.2 or later, a modem and an Internet connection.
Final Product Availability:
DocuMagix HotPage retail product, which includes Netscape Navigator 2.0, will be available in April 1996 at a suggested street price of $79. The online version will be available for download from DocuMagix' electronic distribution channels at a suggested net price of $39.
