PLAINVIEW, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 26, 1996--Packaging Plus Services, Inc. (OTC BB: PKGP) announced today that it had issued and sold a substantial amount of its common stock to Louis Marx, Jr. family interests in a private transaction at a negotiated price.

Marx is a well-known financier and private investor and has been the founder and an officer and director of public and private companies in various fields for a number of years.

Packaging Plus Services (PKGP) is an integrated business services company. Its businesses include its newly created nationwide Association of postal shipping centers (APAC); the direct marketing and delivery of products on the Internet (Uniquenet.com); advertising services (Images) and providing reorganization direction and logistical support for convenient and cost effective delivery of goods nationwide.
