Covenant Electronics Named New Sales Channel for Mitsubishi Electronics' Most Popular One-Time-Programmable Microcontrollers

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 1996--Mitsubishi Electronics America, Inc., today announced Covenant Electronics, Inc. (CEI) as its newest sales channel for some of Mitsubishi's most popular 8-bit and 16-bit one-time programmable (OTP) microcontrollers (MCUs).
CEI is a high technology marketing, sales, service and support company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, with additional offices in Atlanta and Boston.
Broad Range of Technical Support for Mitsubishi's Most Popular OTP MCUs
CEI will provide technical development, field applications engineering, marketing and sales support for some of Mitsubishi Electronics' most popular OTP ROM and ROM-less 8-bit and 16-bit MCU product families. The OTP MCUs supported by CEI include the M38002 and M38203 8-bit product families and the M37702 16-bit product family.
CEI will also provide support for a complete line of microcontroller development tools including evaluation boards, emulators, OTP programmers, and development software such as assemblers, linkers, and compilers.
