Mercury Computer Systems Appoints Stephen D. Grody as Senior Vice President for Marketing and Business Development; Business Development Expert To Focus On Aggressive Growth Strategy

CHELMSFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 15, 1996--Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. announced today that Stephen D. Grody has been named Senior Vice President for Marketing and Business Development. Mr. Grody, who will be responsible for identifying new product and market opportunities, will also play a role in refining product and market strategies for MercuryOs established defense and medical business units.

Prior to joining Mercury, Mr. Grody was a co-founder, director and vice president of McLaughlin & Associates, Inc., a Schaumburg, Il. management consultancy, software supplier and venture group for the computer, communications and information services industry. Mr. GrodyOs professional experience also includes stints at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc. and Aetna Life & Casualty.
