Devine Entertainment begins "cause-related marketing" with the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Baltimore & Big Brothers and Sisters of Canada

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 19, 1996--Devine Entertainment Corp. (NASDAQBB: DVNNF; ALBERTA EX: DVN), one of Canada's fastest growing entertainment companies, announced that it will begin its "cause-related" marketing with two major non-profit institutions, the Kennedy Krieger Institute located in Baltimore and Big Brothers and Sisters of Canada(i).

The prestigious Kennedy Krieger Institute, in conjunction with a major VISA/MASTER CHARGE issuing bank, will offer a gift set of three videos of The Composers' Specials for the Christmas holiday season. An advertising insert brochure will go to more than three million VISA/MASTER CHARGE customers, beginning September, 1996. The Kennedy Krieger Institute is one of America's premier hospitals and the premier school for children with disabilities.

Devine Entertainment will also offer a gift set of three videos of The Composers' Specials for the Christmas holiday season with a portion of the proceeds from the sale going to Big Brothers and Sisters of Canada. Full page ads will be placed in Canada's major pay television guide listings, "Prime Time" and "Feature", which have combined circulations of 850,000 to 900,000.
