REPEAT/Documentum Providing Internet Enterprise Solutions on Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 and Internet Information Server; Documentum Supports IIS As Powerful Web Platform

PLEASANTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 27, 1996--Documentum, Inc. (NASDAQ: DCTM), a leader in enterprise document management solutions, today announced support of Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS).

Companies deploying the Documentum EDMS on Microsoft Windows can now leverage the investments and capabilities of the entire suite of Microsoft products. The EDMS/IIS integration enables users accessing Web applications to benefit from the high performance delivery, intuitive navigation, and query of mission-critical information.

With the integration of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Internet Information Server, Documentum customers can now participate in pre-defined workflows and receive notification of changes in documents and processes. Documentum's support of IIS is available today.

Correspondingly, companies deploying the Documentum EDMS on Windows NT servers can now take advantage of Microsoft's Internet capabilities and improved integration with network and client applications across the enterprise.
