Quality Systems Inc. to install practice management/medical records systems at U.S. Medical Alliance Inc

TUSTIN, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 28, 1996--Sheldon Razin, chairman and president of Quality Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:QSII) (QSI), Wednesday announced that U.S. Medical Alliance Inc. (USMA), a management services organization (MSO) in Atlanta City, N.J., has purchased a combined practice management/medical records system.
The system will provide USMA's member physicians with QSI's comprehensive practice management capabilities combined with state-of-the-art medical records functions designed by Clinitec International Inc., QSI's wholly owned subsidiary.
U.S. Medical Alliance is a health-care practice management company that emphasizes the prevention of disease, the management of health-care services and the effective use of outcomes data.
Nazir Memon, M.D., F.C.C.P., chief executive officer of USMA commented on the order, saying: "The success and growth of newly developed physician equity management organizations such as ours depends extensively on a commitment to comprehensive, advanced medical information systems, the patients' ability to choose their provider and the point-of-care management of disease, quality and utilization.
"We believe Clinitec Next-Gen, an electronic wireless medical records system and the QSI billing and managed-care software meet our highest standard for today and into the future."
