Smartflex management team enhanced by addition of strategic marketing director

TUSTIN, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 29, 1996--Smartflex Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:SFLX) on Wednesday announced that Lyn Gosz has joined the company's management team as director of strategic marketing and business development.

In this capacity, Gosz will develop and implement the company's worldwide strategic business plan, including identification of critical market requirements for new products and services, as well as new strategic opportunities.

Gosz will work closely with both existing and prospective customers, focusing on their ongoing business requirements and the associated near-term and emerging electronic interconnect needs.

Gosz's career comprises over 20 years of increasingly responsible positions including director of new business program development with Unisys Corp. Gosz has provided strategic business planning services to a variety of electronics industry clients as a consultant for the past six years.
