Hilite Achieves Qs-9000 And Iso-9001 Certification At Its Brake Valve And Power Transmission Divisions

CARROLLTON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--December 17, 1996--Hilite Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: HILI) announced today that its brake valve and power transmission divisions achieved QS-9000 and ISO-9001 certification following an independent audit conducted by BVQi Bureau Veritas Quality International. These certifications are internationally recognized standards of quality, delivery and performance. QS-9000 is specific to the automotive industry, while ISO-9001 is a general quality system standard.
