Pure Software Appoints Executives from SGI and Wilson Sonsini to its Board of Directors; Thomas Jermoluk and Larry Sonsini Join Pure Software's Board

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 13, 1996--Pure Software Inc. today announced the addition of two new members to its board of directors.
Effective immediately, Thomas A. Jermoluk, president and chief operating officer of Silicon Graphics, Inc. and Larry Sonsini, chairman of Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, join the board of directors for Pure Software. As directors, Jermoluk and Sonsini will advise the company on matters affecting the operation and direction of the newly-public company.

At Silicon Graphics, Jermoluk is responsible for research and development, finance, marketing and sales, operations, manufacturing and support for the company's entire range of IRIS workstation products. Jermoluk has been with Silicon Graphics since 1986 and reports directly to chairman and CEO, Edward R. McCracken. Prior to joining Silicon Graphics, Jermoluk worked as a manager at Hewlett-Packard and in the UNIX development lab of Bell Laboratories.
Larry Sonsini specializes in corporate law, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. Sonsini is chairman of the firm's executive committee and a recognized expert in securities law and corporate finance. In addition to lecturing and writing extensively on these subjects, Sonsini currently is a director of Novell, Inc. and Lattice Semiconductor Corporation.
