Evergreen reports nine-month results

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 13, 1996--Evergreen Resources Inc. (NASDAQ:EVER) reported a net loss of $477,188, or 8 cents per common share, on revenues of $2,172,830 for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 1995, vs. a net loss of $392,945, or 7 cents per common share on revenues of $2,668,572 in 1994.

During the three months ended Dec. 31, 1995, Evergreen reported a net loss of $156,109, or 3 cents per common share, on revenues of $675,571, vs. a net loss of $37,289, or 1 cent per common share on revenues of $960,743 in 1994.

The 1995 three- and nine-month losses are the result of lower gas prices, disposition of the majority of Evergreen's oil production and payment of preferred stock dividends.
