CSN Names Moises Pinsky CFO and IR Officer; Jose Marcos Treiger joins team as IR manager

Companhia Siderurgica Nacional - CSN (OTC: CSNMY/SAO PAULO: CSN3), Brazil and Latin America's leading steel producer, has named Moises Pinsky as Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations Officer. Until recently Mr. Pinsky occupied the position of Chief Marketing Officer.
The Company also announced that Jose Marcos Treiger has been chosen as Investor Relations Manager. Mr. Treiger comes to CSN from Aracruz Cellulose, where he developed extensive contacts with US equity analysts over a period of two and a half years. Aracruz was the first Brazilian company to achieve a Level III ADR program and to list on the New York Stock Exchange, Mr. Treiger noted today.
Mr. Pinsky was awarded a degree in business administration by the University of Sao Paulo and did graduate work there as well. He also attended Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
A civil engineer, Mr. Treiger received his degree from the Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro.
Mr. Pinsky made a brief comment on CSN's investor relations goals: "We want to expand our dialogue with international analysts, fund managers, investors and the financial media, and look forward to our work in this vital area with a sense of challenge and personal enthusiasm."
CSN will make two presentations in New York February 28, the first at the Bankers Trust Steel Conference in the morning, and the second at the Prudential Securities Metals and Mining Forum during the afternoon. Both Mr. Pinsky and Mr. Treiger will participate in the presentations.
