"This agreement with Capstone opens up markets in Southern California and Canada that we were unable to take advantage of before," said Dan Jackson, director of sales for Pulse. "This will further expand Pulse's market share and provide customers in these important markets with proven components and service."
Pulse resulted from the merger of Fil-Mag into Pulse Engineering following its acquisition by Technitrol, Fil-Mag's parent company. The merger brought together Pulse's design capabilities with Fil-Mag's noted manufacturing expertise.
"By adding Pulse's complete line of communication and networking components to our current product offering, we have expanded our ability to support our customers' needs. This is especially exciting considering Pulse's commitment to quality and reliability in servicing the LAN, power and telecommunications segment of our customer base," stated Scott Grugel, segment marketing manager for Capstone Electronics.
Capstone joins Pulse's other distributors, Sager Electronics, Capsco Sales Inc. and Norvell-Power Division.
Capstone is a subsidiary of Arrow Electronics Inc. (NYSE:ARW), and distributes high quality passive components, electromechanical devices and connector products to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) throughout North America. Nationwide, Capstone operates nine sales offices and two ISO 9002-certified Connector Assembly Supercenters.
Arrow Electronics is the world's largest distributor of electronic components and computer products to industrial and commercial customers.
