Hexcel Stockholders Approve Matters Relating to Ciba Acquisition

PLEASANTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 21, 1996--Hexcel Corporation (NYSE/PSE: HXL) announced that, at a stockholders' meeting held earlier today, Hexcel stockholders approved, among other things, certain matters relating to Hexcel's proposed acquisition of the worldwide Composites Division of Ciba-Geigy Limited ("Ciba").
While consummation of the transaction is still subject to certain security clearance and other conditions, Hexcel expects the acquisition to be completed at the end of February 1996.
Hexcel Corporation is an international developer and manufacturer of honeycomb, advanced composites, and reinforcement fabrics used in the commercial aerospace, space and defense, recreation, and general industrial markets.
