GE Information Services and SalesKit Software announce agreement to market sales force productivity solutions

ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 26, 1996--GE Information Services, a leading provider of business productivity solutions, today announced an agreement with SalesKit Software Corporation. Under this agreement, SalesKit OPEN 5.1 will be launched as GE Information Services' sales force productivity solution and will enable companies to increase the efficiency of their sales teams and processes.
The sales force productivity solution gives sales staff, distributors and customers the ability to instantly access the latest sales literature, training materials and price lists, regardless of their location or the software or computer platform they are using. Additionally, this solution can help streamline the administration of selling programs, improve strategic planning and forecasting, and transmit important business documents quickly and securely. Sales force productivity is a key component of GE Information Services' Marketing and Sales Productivity Solution package, which provides a full complement of products and services for top-line growth and increased productivity through improved communications and more efficient management of sales opportunities.
SalesKit OPEN is the industry's first open architecture, rapid deployment Sales Force Automation (SFA) product and is designed to quickly implement intuitive SFA solutions. GE Information Services and SalesKit will administer an implementation methodology pioneered by SalesKit that allows rapid configuration, installation and deployment of SFA systems.
