VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 8, 1996-- (VSE: JNN) Dale W. Hoffman, president of JNR Resources Inc. (the "Company"), wishes to report that the Company has received formal approval from the Vancouver Stock Exchange for the $300,000 private placement of flow-through shares and warrants announced on December 21, 1995, with the formal closing taking place today.
Also, as the weather has improved in the area of the JNR Resources - Consolidated Pine Channel joint venture diamond project, in northeastern Ontario, drilling on the project is about to re-commence on 19 priority-one targets.
