Taco Cabana reports a new vice president of marketing

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 22, 1996--Taco Cabana Inc. (NASDAQ:TACO) announced that Alison Glenn has joined the company as vice-president of marketing effective today.
Glenn comes to Taco Cabana with more than 12 years of restaurant marketing experience, having spent the past two and one-half years as the vice president of marketing for the Ruby Tuesday division of Morrison Restaurants Inc. While at Ruby Tuesday's, Glenn was responsible for the planning and implementation of all system-wide marketing activity and was actively involved in the formulation of the Ruby Tuesday strategic plan.
Prior to her experience with Ruby Tuesday, Glenn spent seven years with the Ponderosa division of Metromedia Steakhouses, L.P. "We are very excited about Alison joining our team," said Steve Clark, president and chief operating officer of Taco Cabana. "We were very impressed with Alison's background in both the casual dining and quick service restaurant segments. We believe that Alison will have an immediate impact on our marketing strategy and look forward to her being a key member of our management team."
Glenn holds a masters of business administration degree from Ohio State University and undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Marketing from Penn State University. Glenn will be relocating to San Antonio from her current home in Alabama.
